Flowtek HDD UK Limited is a family run horizontal directional drilling company based in Doncaster but operating throughout the United Kingdom. We have 10 full time staff, all with many years of experience within the trenchless technology field. The company was incorporated in 2012 by Chris Preston. Chris worked for the first ever directional drilling company in the UK, FlowMole, and has been in the directional drilling industry for over 30 years. After having worked for various companies within the drilling industry, Chris made the decision to start his own directional drilling business purchasing his very first Vermeer Drill Rig back in 2008. The team consisted of those Chris had worked closely with at FlowMole bringing together many years of experience and expertise. We now have a wide range of drills from Vermeer d36x50’s to Ditchwitch JT8020 and JT40T in order to undertake the installation of larger diameter pipes along with a Ditchwitch AT40 Rock Drill capable of drilling ground such as rock.
